4. do problems 41, 45 in groups; go over answers
5. work on AP problem
6.
7.
Homework: finish AP problems from handout; study for test Friday
General Physics Period 4
Objective: discuss how voltage differences can cause charges to move; discuss simple circuits
Boardwork:
Activities:
1. briefly review electrostatics
2. take quiz on electrostatics
3. go over how voltage determines charge flow; do demo w/ light bulb
4. discuss resistivity and how it relates to resistance
5. discuss how to draw and form simple circuits; demonstrate with bulbs
6. have students try to build simple series and parallel circuits
7. discuss appliance worksheet
Homework: Formal labs due Monday night; fill out appliance worksheet
