Applied Physics Period 1
Objective: identify and be able to build the different types of simple circuits; discuss ohm's law
Boardwork:
Activities:
1. give back quizzes and quickly go over
2. again review the idea that charge flows when there are changes in potential
3. discuss resistivity, current, voltage, and resistance, and how they relate
4. show symbols for simple circuit, then build a demo circuit and short circuit
5. have students attempt to build simple series and parallel circuits, then discuss
6. discuss how to calculate total resistance in series and parallel circuits
7.
Homework: do quiz corrections
