Answer the following question and respond to another student's post.

You are driving down the highway and a bug splatters on your windshield. Which is greater: the force of the bug on the windshield, or the force of the windshield on the bug? Which effect of the force (acceleration) is greater: the deceleration of the bug or the deceleration of the car? Why?

1) When a cannon is fired, how does the size of the force of the cannon on the cannonball compare with the force of the cannonball on the cannon? How does the acceleration of the cannon compare with that of the cannonball? Defend your answer.

Honors Physics Free Fall Blog

For the following blog, please discuss at least three sources of error in the ball drop experiment performed today.  Also, comment on whether or not you think someone else's sources of error were correct or relevant.  Finally, answer the following question below in with your sources of error.

An object falls freely from height h.  It is released at time zero and strikes the ground at time t.  a)  When the object is released from height 0.5h, is the time to fall less than, greater than, or equal to time 0.5h?  When the time to fall is 0.5t, is the distance of the drop less than, equal to, or greater than height 0.5h?  Explain your answers.
